I was born and raised in the northwest side of Chicago in a large family and for as long as I can remember I always had a camera in tow wherever I went. Whether it was photographing one of my five siblings, friends, endless family gatherings, vacations, nature, my pets, and now my own son, I always seem to be capturing life. It took me many years to discover that I was passionate about photography and felt that it was time for me to share my passion with others.

When I met my husband he lived in Cary, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Being a native Chicagoan, I took a huge leap and moved to Cary. We now reside in Fox River Grove. I suppose you can say it’s where “Cary Grove” came from in Cary Grove Photography, not to mention it’s also the name of the area in which we live. We have been blessed with a gorgeous redheaded son and have two wonderful dogs that keep us very busy.

As a photographer, my goal is to create a relaxed and casual environment for my clients. I love to capture as many natural poses as possible. My job is to let the subject be themselves and wait until the time is right to photograph them.
